Entry to Cyprus
- ID card : Poles do not need visas or passports to enter Cyprus. An ID card is sufficient.
- Safety : Cyprus is generally a safe place, but it is always worth being cautious and avoiding unfamiliar places.
Communication
- Larnaca Airport : The largest international airport in Cyprus. You can take buses or rent a car at the airport, or book an airport transfer with us – our resident drivers are Polish and have lived in Cyprus for 20 years.
- Public transport : Buses run between major cities, but renting a car gives you more flexibility – you can rent a car from us and it will be waiting for you at the Villa Dom in Cyprus.

Car rental
- Left-hand traffic : In Cyprus, traffic drives on the left side of the road.
- Insurance : Make sure you have adequate travel insurance.
Climate and clothing
- Climate : Cyprus has a hot, dry climate during the summer months, so be prepared for warm days.
- Clothing : Make sure you have light, airy clothes and sunscreen.
Tongue
- Official language : Greek, but in larger cities and tourist areas everyone speaks English.
- Signs : In shops and smaller establishments you will often find signs in the Greek alphabet.
Prices
- Currency : The currency used in Cyprus is the euro.
- Costs : Prices may be slightly higher in tourist areas.
